Straight outta Stockton CA, Mr. Flolo begain playing the drums in 1985. He spent many an afternoon playing, rhyming and screaming along to his favorite Hip-Hop and Punk records. Soon after, he formed his first band, Malicious Mischief, a hardcore band heavily influenced by bands like Bad Brains, Black Flag, Cro-Mags and the Decendents. When his Godmother found out he was learning the drums, she quickly signed him up to back her Gospel group, the Ingram Singers in Baptist churches throughtout the Bay Area. This mix of social rebellion, spiritual groundedness and get-fresh flow stay with him to this day. After a decade of playing the San Joaquin Valley and Sacramento area, he moved to Sonoma County in 1994 and connected with Midnight Sun Massive, becoming their drummer for many years... at least, until they heard his pick up the microphone, bringing elements of Hip-Hop and Dancehall into the mix. A long-time songwriter and producer, he has contributed such songs as: Touch, Different Cup, Trinity, Life as We Know It, Sunrise, Summer Girl and the upcoming single U.N.I.T.Y.      [back]
